Well, I am officially homesick! Although, I love Denver and my job, it has finally sunk in that we are here to stay. I miss my family, I miss my friends, I miss my old job and I miss the familiarity of everything. I will tell you one thing I don't miss and that is the humidity! This weekend the high on Saturday was 57! We had to find our jackets and sweatshirts! It rained more this weekend than it has in 7 months here. I guess they get it all at once! The temp is back up in the 80's today, with the wonderful blue sky and the mountains as the backdrop.
Ty is in his second week of college and loves all his classes. Its just so darn weird with him gone. I keep waiting for him to come to the table at dinner and say, "wheres the meat?" I am so happy that he loves it there and is making friends. He's already in a film club.
Lauren and Kyle will start next Monday. They are ready to make some friends. Lauren loves her schedule. Along with her normal classes, she has German I, photography, journalism, newspaper, and weight lifting! How cool! Kyle will get his schedule tomorrow. We are so proud though, they are putting him in 7th grade math!
Please drop me a line, I need some good southern hospitality!
love,
T

Yesterday when I took Ethan to school I realized how different things would be this year...no phone calls "can you pick up Kyle today too". Just one of those friend things you do for each other that won't be anymore. I miss you terribly! Love you! Ann
hey beautiful! I can't even tell you how much I miss you!! It's not the same without my side-kick at work with me!! :)
Can you believe Tiff is getting married in 2 days?? I can't wait till my big day!
Hope I will get to see you someday soon. Tell your family I said hello. love and miss ya!
Ann,
I know what you mean! I have no one to call when I have shopped too long any more!!! But, I miss you for many more reasons than that! One of the nurses I work with invited Lauren to youth group last night because her son and Lauren will go to school together and Lauren said today, "Mrs. Kathy is so nice, she reminded me of Mrs. Ann". So, you are missed by all!
Traci,
I can't tell you how much I miss you too!!! There isn't a Traci at my new job. No one to listen to all my stories! I can't wait until your big day either, I plan to be there!
hey ya'll! i had to say that - just a little southern hospitality! I really miss you girl! i love the pics of the kids, i pray their first week of school is great. i can't believe i figured out how to do this! i know i am talking in broken thoughts but it is midnight and i have a few more hours to work on faith's horse show outfit. i will write again when i am a little more coherent (there is no telling what her outfit will look like - hahaha)! love you dearly, Nan
